TB Tax Services Inc. is a member in good standing with the EAOC – Efile Association of Canada.

Once we professionally prepare your tax return, you can choose on the manner in which you want your tax return sent to CRA – Canada Revenue Agency (formerly Revenue Canada). It can either be mailed in through Canada Post, delivered by courier, or we can submit it to CRA electronically. Electronic Transmission was once known as EFILE, and has since been changed to EFILE ONLINE PLUS. Every year TB Tax Services Inc. has to be approved by CRA, before we are given permission to transmit tax returns electronically. All tax information is encrypted to provide privacy and security for our clients, and only CRA can decode this information.

Once we transmit your tax return to CRA, they will send us a verification number (sometimes immediately, and sometimes within 3 hours). This number confirms that your tax return has been received and accepted by them. Should they want to review anything on the tax return, they will either notify our office or they will notify you directly.

Tax refunds usually come back in about two weeks. You can also choose to have your refund, HST and Child Tax benefit deposited directly into your bank account. Most clients choosing the direct deposit method received their refunds in about one week.
